Stylistic flair cannot compensate for shaky basics

<div align="justify">For a show all about pain, feelings and empathy, _Kiznaiver_ carries surprisingly little emotional baggage. And for a show that entirely rests on creating a relatable, engaging and multifaceted cast, it does a questionable job of th…

I've never really written a review before and i was scrolling through my watched list and remembered how good this show was so i thought id write something about it so if even one person sees this and it convinces them to watch it.
(tiny spoilers ahead)
- this show was easily a 10/10, I've never s…
Read full review on AniList →Kiznaiver is impressive for 8-9 episodes, then Trigger does Trigger things and gets overly ambitious with the ending.
(__Disclaimer:__ I go into spoilers a little at the Favorite Character section, so just skip to the final paragraph if you want to see my overall thoughts. Also, rant warning, sorry.)
Finishing Kiznaiver and Classroom of the Elite on the same day really made for a day full of disappointment, albeit…

**THIS REVIEW IS BASICALLY ONE HUGE SPOILER**
## Quick note first
You probably just want the conclusion.
I wanted to keep a running log of what I think of this show to, after I finish it, serve as a review to be posted on Anilist.
I will run over this quickly after I'm done and add edits etc (**…

>Kiznaiver is something of an oddity, even amongst the Trigger catalogue of [batshit insane](https://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Main/GainaxEnding) anime.
Penned by the infamous Mari Okada, this was bound to be an expe…
Read full review on AniList →Kiznaiver is an extraordinarily average anime whose concepts exceeds its reality.
This was a weird anime to say the least. It had tons glamour but nothing more. I feel like it was shooting for a story much bigger than itself and ended up looking like a plot made by children...whose lives revolved around making friends and sense of the concept of true friends.

_This review was taken from my reviews blog. [Link to the original here](https://haxoscript.wordpress.com/2018/07/04/review-kiznaiver/)._
Long time ago, I promised myself to not watch any other show written by Mari Okada. However, when I saw that Kiznaiver was a collab with Studio Trigger, I told t…
Read full review on AniList →Gives the word 'Empathy' its own shown
Kiznaiver is a one-of-a kind anime, it starts with introducing the characters and you can obviously tell the white haired guy is the main character due to his nonchalant-act and the obvious fact that he is hiding something.
You're not sure if you're getting into a romance, a slice of life, a thrill…
Read full review on AniList →Test on children. A topic which is relevant today
Kiznaiver... I watched it like 1 or 2 month ago. I still remember it clearly. It is a really sad story -for me at least- because we should never try out technologies on children. They cannot even make their own choice here but this choice from others will effect them their whole life. This is why I…

Ouah.

First, is this community still alive? Holy **** this anime is amazing. I honestly think this is my favorite anime I've ever seen (coming from a beginner whose only watched around thirty). This anime deserves a big, amazing fandom because it is so good! I watched i…
