[Twitter](https://twitter.com/mankyu55) **Mankyuu** is a Japanese director and storyboard artist who became known for his short flash animations. After graduating from the Faculty of Intercultural Communication at Hosei University he worked as a freelancer before joining the animation company [DLE](https://anilist.co/studio/276/DLE) in 2006. In October 2009 he joined the newly found production company [Gathering](https://anilist.co/studio/400/Gathering) where he worked until March 2017 after which he became a freelancer again.
