Wanted to pursue a career in anime after having seen [Princess Mononoke](https://anilist.co/anime/164/) while still in high school. The art depiction of the movie's setting made her want to become a background artist. She entered the industry in 2002, and joined Studio Who, a background art studio ran by [Tsutomu Fujita](https://anilist.co/staff/147331/). Later she joined Studio Easter and worked on many of [A-1 Pictures](https://anilist.co/studio/561/)' projects, most notably making her debut as an art director on [Idolmaster](https://anilist.co/anime/10278/). She has since served as an art director on [Your Lie in April](https://anilist.co/anime/20665/), [Occultic;Nine](https://anilist.co/anime/21708/), [Horimiya](https://anilist.co/anime/124080/) among others.
