Graduated from the Department of Earth and Environmental Sciences, Faculty of Science at Ibaraki University's Volcano Research Laboratory. While researching volcanoes at university, he admired the work of [Yutaka Nakamura](https://anilist.co/staff/101801/) and began creating animated GIFs at his rented home and uploading them online. He was later discovered by [Hokuto Sadamoto](https://anilist.co/staff/138360/) and officially debuted as a key animator on the anime [Rifle Is Beautiful](https://anilist.co/anime/104679/). He has close ties with [Shingo Fuji](https://anilist.co/staff/133564/), working as a main animator on every project Fuji directs, and is strongly influenced by [Ryou Imamura](https://anilist.co/staff/122455/), with whom he still maintains a close relationship today. He is also a close friend of [Masaho Hori](https://anilist.co/staff/215933/).
